Kindness is everything we need in life. Are you kind to yourself? Are you kind to people? Are you putting people’s interests before yours? Are hurting people or helping them? Are you treating people with respect? Are you reaching out to people in need? Are you living for yourself? Or are you living for yourself and others?
The art of kindness is the art of living together. It is the art of working together. It is the art of reaching out to people who critically need our help. We are not created to be alone; we are created to live, work, help, play, and eat together. According to social psychology, “human beings are social animals.”
Make people happy. Hug them. Tell them you love them them. Tell them they are beautiful. Give people life. Inject hope into people’s lives. Don’t add sorrow to people’s lives. Add joy, happiness, and fun to people’s lives. They need your love. They need your time. They need your smile. They need your call. Call people you have not heard from, and tell them you just want to see how they are doing. They will appreciate it, and you will appreciate it, too.
“Kindness, I’ve discovered, is everything in life.”- Isaac Bashevis Singer
Albert Schweitzer, theologian, said, “Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.”
Be kind to yourself. Be kind to people, and they will be kind to you.
To get what we want from life, we must first know what we want. Most people want something but they don’t know how to get them.
You will be successful if you know what you want.
You will be successful if you know how to get what
You will be successful if you focus on getting
what you want.
You can get what you want if you believe you can. Napoleon Hill said, “You can do it if you believe you can.”
You can really be successful if you can just do more than you are paid to do. Do more than you are paid to do. Don’t do what others are doing. Do what you think is right, and what will push you closer to your dream. Again, Napoleon Hill said, “Render more service than that for which you are paid and you will soon be paid for more than you render. The law of ‘increasing returns’ takes care of this.”
Let us look at more ways you can get the best that
you so much deserved in life.
When you take responsibility for your actions, you
are giving yourself power to conquer other bigger and more challenging things
ahead of you. But if you blame other people for your actions, you are giving
your power away. Don’t blame anyone. Take responsibility for your actions.
“You must accept responsibility for your actions, but not the credit for your achievements.”- Denis Waitley
To get what you want in life, act! Don’t wait for
the perfect time to do it. Do it today. If you don’t take action to change your
life, your life will not change.
“Don’t watch the clock, do what it does. Keep going.”- Sam Levenson
Your success will not come from putting important things
off until tomorrow. Your success will come from doing the first and the most important
things first. Don’t procrastinate.
Arthur Ashe said, “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
is not final.
If you fail at something, don’t take it as final.
It is not final, and it will never be. It is okay to fail when you are finding
the right path to success. If you want to be successful, you must be
comfortable with failure.
As Margie Warrell put it, “Just because you fail at something does not mean you’re a failure.”
It takes 10- 20 years to be lucky. If you want to be lucky, you must be patient. Success goes to those who are patient, not those who are always running. Be patient. Success is a process, not by accident.
“Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.”- Arthur Ashe
positively about things.
No matter what is happening around you, focus on
the positive things. When you focus on positive things, you will attract
positive things into your life. When you focus on negative things, you will attract
negative things into your life.
“We are not permitted to choose the frame of our destiny. But what we put into it is ours.”– Dag Hammarskjold, economist
Everything is possible if you want it badly. Focus on what you want and you will get it.
Success starts with taking responsibility for our actions. Successful people take responsibility for their actions. They don’t blame people. They blame themselves. So, if you want to change things that are not working for you, if you want to really fix the mess that you have created in your life, take responsibility. Hold yourself accountable for what you have done to yourself and the people around you.
There is power in taking responsibility for your actions. It gives you control over your life. But if you blame other people for what you have done to yourself, you are giving your power away. You are telling them ‘to control you.’ You are telling them to help you fix your problems. Look, if they manage to help you, who do you think will be the master? To be your own master, to control your life, take responsibility to fix your own mess. Don’t give the key to your life to anyone. No matter what, hold on to it.
Let us see what Pat Summitt says about the art of taking responsibility:
“Accountability is the essential to personal growth, as well as team growth. How can you improve if you are never wrong? If you don’t admit a mistake and take responsibility for it, you are bound to make the same mistake again.”- Pat Summitt, coach
To grow in life, in your career, in your relationships with good people, you MUST learn how to say, “I am sorry.” This is the issue with lots of people, including myself. If you make a mistake, admit it. Don’t try to defend yourself. If you do, you are making the situation worse for yourself, because the person you are dealing with is not going to be happy with you. In order to avoid that, you must be very good at admitting a mistake. That is the only way out of trouble. It is not easy to do. Learn how to say ‘you are sorry.’ Practice it. Make it a habit, and you will overcome it.
“If you don’t want responsibility, don’t sit in the big chair. To be successful, you must accept full responsibility.”- Pat Summitt, coach
If you want to achieve success in life, you MUST learn how to take responsibility. No one will take it for you. Responsibility is holding yourself accountable for your failures and successes. It means you are responsibility for your life. It means you are answerable to yourself. It means you are the one who is in control of your life. If you want to do great things, learn how to take responsibility.
“Responsibility equals accountability equals ownership. And a sense of ownership is the most powerful weapon a team or organization can have.”- Pat Summitt, coach
When you take responsibility for your actions, it means you are the OWNER of your life. It means you are in control of your life. It means you are the one driving your life. It means you are ready to take the rough rough road to success. A sense of ownership is what you need to succeed in life. Whatever you do, own it.
Nothing is impossible if you want it to be possible. If you want it, you can get it. It begins with you. It starts with self-belief. If you believe in yourself, nothing you cannot do. But if you don’t believe in yourself, you cannot even kill a butterfly.
It starts with you, not with me, not with your neighbor, but you. If you want it, it is your responsibility to get it done. it is your responsibility to be rich. It is also your responsibility to be poor. You can change it by changing how you see life, how you see success, how you see failure.
The impossible is made possible through action. Only action change things for you. If you want to do the impossible, take action. Don’t wish, just do it. It is scared, but if you do it, your life will never be the same again.
