Mind your own business. “We are all here for a purpose.”– Paulo coelho
If you want to succeed in life, you must mind your own business. You must do your own thing. You must take your own path. Don’t do what other people are doing. Do what you are here to do. Follow your heart. Listen to your heart. There is no room in the middle. You can’t grow in the middle. Because the middle has no room for you. There is no room for expansion. Where there is no room for expansion, there is certainly no room for growth.
We live in a world where people want us to pursue other people’s dreams. We are constantly told to look at what the other guy is doing. But no one is telling us to pursue our own dreams. If you listen, you will miss the reason you are here on earth. “Your time is limited”, according to Steve Jobs. Don’t use it to pursue other people’s lives. Use your time to know yourself, to love, and to enjoy nature.
People are unhappy because they never stop chasing other people’s dreams. They never stop looking at what other people are doing. They never stop comparing themselves to other people. They never stop complaining. When you look at others, when you compare yourself to others, here is what you are doing to yourself: “You are ignoring yourself.”
You are here for you, not for them. So you must mind your own business. You must commit yourself to your life, to your work, to your relationship, and to your success. It is your life. You must be the CEO of your life. You can achieve anything in your life, if you take the time to practice, to do the work, and to understand why you are doing what you are doing. Mark Bertin says, “It takes practice to focus on the good stuff, too.” To get the good stuff out of life, you must mind your own business.
