Thomas Edison said, “If we did all the things we are capable of, we could literally astound ourselves.”

Why are we not doing all the things we are capable of? Why are you not doing all the things you are capable of? Why are you not stretching yourself? Why are you not taking enough risks? Why are you not meeting different people?

Life is like a muscle. The more you live your life, the more life you will have to live. You can’t live a productive life if you are not doing meaningful things. You are living your life when you are doing productive things. But if life is all about doing positive, meaningful things, why are people not doing all the things they are capable of?

You think people are watching you. You think people will criticize you for trying. But remember, if you don’t try at all, people will still say something about you. It is better you do something to change yourself than to stay where you are. You don’t want to try something new because you are scared of failure. You are not going to do well in life if you don’t want to fail. Failure is a part of life. If you want to be a champion, you must welcome failure.

Don’t listen to people who are not helping you to succeed. It is okay to listen to what they have to say. But you have the ultimate power to change yourself. Do it. Don’t wait. The more you wait, the more you will never do it. If you don’t try, you will never know how far you can really travel. If you don’t try, you will never know how strong, how productive, how smart, how intelligent you are. If you want to know how powerful you are, you must stretch yourself.

Are you ready to stretch yourself? Are you ready to bring out the best in you?
