Your happiness is in your own hands. Don’t look for happiness. Don’t search for happiness. Because you can’t find it anywhere. Happiness is not what you look for; it’s what you give to other people.
The purpose of doing something is to grow, to move from where you are to where you want to be. But to get to where you want to be, you must start doing the right thing, thinking the right way, and acting the right way.
Your story matters. But the real question is, “Who is telling your story? What are you telling yourself? What are you believing about yourself? What are you telling the people around you- your friends, your relatives, your coworkers, your managers or bosses? What are you believing about your life? What?
Are you living in the past or in the moment? Are you planning for yesterday or for tomorrow? Are you regretting your past mistakes or correcting them now? What does today mean to you? Are you enjoying your life?
Do you have a garden? If you have one, are you growing it? Are you nurturing your garden? Are you weeding your garden?
What is it that you always wanted from others? Is it happiness, love, success, or a career advancement? I don’t know. You are in a better position to answer this question.
Our thoughts control our actions. We cannot just get angry without first thinking about something that we don’t like. Thoughts before actions.
