We can’t change everything that we face in life, but we can change the ones we can. If we don’t try, nothing will happen. Everything will remain the same. Your life will not change, unless you do. You are in charge of your life. You can change your life. If you face barriers on your way to success, you can charge them. If you don’t face the barriers standing in your way, nothing will change.
Whatever you are going through in your life, don’t run away from it, face it. If you run away from your problems, your problems will get bigger. But if you look your problems in the face, they will get smaller. We make our problems bigger by not looking at them in the face. Problem is part of who we are as human beings. You cannot live your life without problems. It is how you manage them that will make them bigger or smaller. Remember, your problems are uniquely yours. They are not mine. They are yours. So if you want to find solutions to them, think about your problems from your own personal situation. Try to understand your problems before you seek for help. Try to know how you get to where you are right now.
Ask yourself questions like, “How did I get here? What happened? Where did I get something wrong?” Great questions are important to ask when you are trying to solve a problem- big or small. It allows you to get beyond what people are not telling you. It also allows you to get beyond what you are not telling yourself. Questions allow us to get to more questions, not to more answers. You will get to the root cause of your problem by asking tough and great questions. That is the only way that you can change your life.
You cannot change your life by hiding your weaknesses. You cannot change your life by telling yourself what you want to hear. You cannot change your life by surrounding yourself with ‘yes-men’ people. You cannot change your life by thinking in negative ways. You cannot change your life by doing the same thing that got you into trouble. You cannot change your life if you don’t know your life. You cannot change your life if you don’t know what you want, where you are going, and how to get there. You cannot change your life if you are not ready to be uncomfortable. You cannot change your life if you are not ready to get in the ring and fight.
If you don’t face your problems, your problems will never go away. If you want to make your problem really small, you must start attacking it with all you’ve got. Don’t let it grow bigger. Make it smaller. Give your problem extra dose of chemotherapy to shrink it. If you don’t shrink your problems, they will grow like cancer cells. Do not ignore your problems, face your problems. Ignoring your problems is like allowing cancer cells to grow without telling your doctor. You cannot do that. Once you notice a problem, start designing a comprehensive plan to attack it. Don’t let it go, until you have conquered it. You can do it. Start now!
