A rewarding life is a life worth living. It means different things to different people. What is rewarding to me is not rewarding to you. But whether we know it or not, a rewarding life is what we want for ourselves and others.
A rewarding life is within our reach. We can create it. We can design it. We have the power to create the life we want. Don’t expect anyone to make your life rewarding. They can’t do it. Only you can. You can create your own rewarding life. You can create your happy life. You can create your own meaningful life. Yes, you have the energy to do just that.
A rewarding life is a meaningful life.
A rewarding life is a creative life.
A rewarding life is a productive life.
A rewarding life is a happy life.
You can make your life a rewarding one or a meaningless one. It depends on what you want. It depends on what you think about. The choice is yours. But if you decide to create your own meaningful life, let us try the following strategies:
Be yourself. If you can’t be yourself- your real self, you can’t change your life. And if you can’t change your life, you can’t create a rewarding life. Ryan Holiday says, “There is no greatness if we cannot be.” If we can be, we can create the life we want for ourselves and others.
Expect change. You cannot live or create a rewarding life if you are not open to change. Don’t resist change, embrace it. Don’t rely on what has worked for you yesterday. It is not enough anymore. Take on new things to create and live a rewarding life. Change is a motivator. It moves us from where we are comfortable into where we can grow. If you don’t move, you can’t grow. If you want to grow, you must move.
Don’t be scared to try new things. Old things are good, but they can’t give new results. You need new things to create a new life. Without a new life, we cannot create or live a rewarding life.
Make mistakes. You can’t live a great life without making tons of mistakes. If you don’t make mistakes, you playing a safe game. You can’t succeed by playing it too safe. You succeed by playing too hard. Don’t be afraid of mistakes. They are part of our lives. If you don’t know what to do, just get in there and start doing something. You will learn as you go. Don’t wait for your perfect time. There never will be one. Just make mistakes!
Don’t run away from challenges. Are they really challenges or blessings to us? It depends on you. If you love your life, you must fall in love with challenges. Because they can make you a better person. Embrace each challenge in your as a gift. See each challenge in your life as a way forward, not a way backward. If you do, a rewarding life is guaranteed!
Put your humor to work. Colette said, “Total absence of humor renders life impossible.”
Focus on your purpose in life. “A soul without a high aim is like a ship without a rudder.”
Appreciate what you have. When you appreciate what you have, you will attract more into your life. Eileen Caddy said, “Gratitude helps you to grow and expands; gratitude brings joy and laughter in your life and into the lives of all those around you.”
Are you creating your rewarding life or not?
