You cannot succeed in fighting your fear if you keep running away from what you fear. If you want to succeed, you must first fight what you fear. You must first “trample your fear beneath your feet.”

Nadia Comaneci said, “I don’t run away from a challenge because I am afraid, I run toward it because the only to escape fear is to trample it beneath your feet.” Success is not without challenges. If you want to succeed, you must embrace your fear. You must fight your fear by doing what you are scared of. Don’t let what you are scared of stop you from achieving your dreams.

Fear is real. But if you want to move forward in life, you must conquer your fear. It is not going to be easy, but it is doable. Remember, if you fear something, that thing is worth pursuing. Successful people face their fears, and their fears disappear. If you have the gut to face your fear, you can achieve anything you want in life. You can live the life you are created to live.

Take care of your fear, and your fear will leave you alone.

Charles Darwin said, “It is not the strongest species that survive, not the most intelligent, but the most responsive to change.” Change is important if you want to move forward, if you want to grow, if you want to add value to your life and the lives of people around you.

But you can’t move forward if you keep staying away from change. You can’t get out of your comfort zone if you keep fighting change. You cannot grow if you keep resisting change.

Change is a way of life. It is here to stay. If you want to survive your life, your job, you MUST embrace change, not fighting it. The people who are doing well are those who learned how to cope with change. Change is scary, but not to destroy you.

People resist change because it is scary. It makes them uncomfortable. It makes them nervous. Change represents confusion. It threatens the status quo, meaning it threatens the usual ways of doing things. It threatens the, “This is how we do things here.”

If you want to be better, to grow, to explore, to know more than you think you know, embrace change. Don’t resist change. Socrates said, “The secret of change is to focus all your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” Fighting the old will only keep you in your comfort zone. Neil Strauss said, “Great things never come from comfort zone.” Don’t fight the old, build the new. That is the way to move forward.
