“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forward.“- Kierkegaard
To understand why you are where you are right now, it is important to go back to evaluate some of your past decisions. Once you have done that, no matter how ugly your findings might be, put yourself together and start again. It is never too late to start again.
“He who risks and fails can be forgiven. He who never risks and never fails is a failure in his whole being.”– Paul Tillich, philosopher
It is okay to fail in life. Failure is part of the game of life. The difference between the rich and the poor is how they manage failure. Don’t let the fear of failure stop you from achieving your dreams. If you try and fail, you are not a failure. But if you don’t try and fail, you are a failure.
“All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.”– Michael John Bobak, from email@example.com
If you want to grow in life, in your career, comfort zone is not the right place for you. It is the wrong place to be. There is nothing happening there. Comfort zone is a dead zone, not a progress zone. Don’t be scared to try new things. Challenge yourself to grow. Where there is no challenge, there is no growth. If you want to grow, you must challenge yourself. You must do new things. You must think in new ways. Embrace it, and you will grow.
“Men are only clever at shifting blame from their own shoulders to those of others.”– Livy, Roman historian
No matter where you are, what you are doing, with whom you are doing it, always take responsibility for your actions. It makes you stronger, not weaker.
