Everything about you is in your own hand. You are the only one who can make your life better. No one is capable of changing your life, but you.
You can change your life by what you do, by what you think about all day long, and by the choices you make on a daily basis.
You can change your life by changing what you think about on a daily basis. If you spend your time thinking about negative things, if you spend your time thinking about what is not working for you, if you spend your time dwelling on the past, negative things will follow. But if you do the opposite, positive things will follow. You need positive thoughts to live your life. Positive thoughts are life-building thoughts. Negative thoughts, on the other hand, are life-destroying thoughts.
As Dr. Joseph Murphy puts it, “Your subconscious is the builder of your body and is on the job twenty-four hours a day. You interfere with its life-giving patterns by negative thinking.” The way you think about your life and the things that are happening around you affects your life more than what you do.
To have a better life, you must think in positive ways. Positive thoughts equal positive actions. Negative thoughts equal negative actions.
Change your thoughts to change your life. Yes, you can do it.
Christian Daa Larson was an American New Thought leader and teacher, as well as a prolific author of metaphysical and New Thought books.
“It is the greatness of everything in man that gives man the greatness, and the perpetual awakening of the great within will produce this greatness, because to the powers and the possibilities of the great within there is no limit, neither is there any end.”- Christian D. Larson
“To move forward now is the purpose, and he who continue to move forward now will reach any goal he may have in view.”- Christian D. Larson
“To move forward we must advance in the present, in the present only.”- Christian D. Larson
“Development is gradual and does not simply consist in the unfoldment of added power and capacity, but also in the full tangible use of that power and capacity.”- Christian D. Larson
“Never go to bed discouraged, nor with the thought of failure in mind.”- Christian D. Larson
“No person can afford to take a commonplace view of anything, nor to indulge in cheap thinking at any thing; to do so is to place inferior seeds in the garden of the mind.”- Christian D. Larson
“The person who works in the attitude of doubt can never be at his best.”- Christian D. Larson
“Cheerfulness is not only a good medicine, it is food for mind and body.”- Christian D. Larson
“Be good and kind to everybody; it is one of the royal paths to happiness and peace.”- Christian D. Larson
“If you wish your path to be strewn with roses, just be kind.”- Christian D. Larson
Most people want to be successful, but they are not doing their best work. To be successful is not by accident; it comes from giving your best, doing your best, and earning your best.
“If you do what everybody is doing, you will get what everybody is getting.”
If you want the best from life, you must give your best to life. What you sow is what you will reap. If you want different results, you must learn how to do things differently. If you are just doing what everybody is doing, you will get what everybody is getting.
“If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly.”– G. K. Chesterton
Whatever you want in life, you must pay the price to get it. If you do an average work, you will get an average result. But if you do a great work, you will get a great result. That is the law of cause and effect in action. What you give out is what you will receive.
“To be successful is not a rocket science. You just need to do the right things.”
To be successful is not a rocket science. You just need to do the right things, follow the right path, associate with the right people, ask the right questions, and most importantly, take action.
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has yet to come. We have only today. Let us begin.”- Mother Teresa
Lots of people spend their time dealing with what happened yesterday. If you continue to live in yesterday, you will continue to miss what is happening today. Today is all that you have. Why wasting it?
You can’t enjoy today if you keep living in yesterday. You need today to build tomorrow. You need today to build your future. If you don’t manage today well, you will not enjoy tomorrow.
If you want to enjoy tomorrow, pay attention to what you are doing today. Pay attention to what you are experiencing right now. Pay attention to how you are spending your time. Pay attention to what today means to you. Pay attention to the results you are getting today. You need today to get tomorrow. If not, you are going to be disappointed.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi famously said, “The future depends on what we do in the present.”
If you want your future to be better than what you have today, you must focus on what you are doing right now. Believe you can, and you will.
