The Fear Of Poverty: How To Make It Work For You, Not Against You.

Full Frame Shot of Text on Wood

Fear is nothing but a state of mind. It is a picture you have in your mind.

The fear of poverty is a negative picture you have in your mind. People pray to be successful, but they still think small. If you want to be great, you must first think in a great way. You must develop a state of mind that pictures what you want to achieve.

You are the one who created a picture of a poor person in your mind. You are the ONLY one who can get it out of your mind. Do it before it is too late for you. You can change the situation by focusing on what is possible, not what is not possible. Do not wander in self-pity. See yourself as a rich person, and design a strategy to make it happen.

People focus on the fear of poverty because they don’t want to be poor. They are afraid not to be poor. They don’t want to be poor, especially if they were once wealthy.

How to make the fear of poverty work for you, not against you.

The first thing you should do is to take action. Take action. Don’t stand and watch people getting things done. You join them and be part of the doers, not the watchers. If you really want to conquer poverty, you must take action. Action is the ONLY thing that can conquer fear. So, my friends, take action. Stop complaining. Don’t be a complainer anymore. Be a doer. It takes time. Be patient.

Understand your fear. Understanding fear of poverty will give you the energy you need to get things done. Understanding fear means you now know that fear is a part of who we are. You now know what to do when you experience it.

Reject poverty. You can reject poverty by taking action. You can dream all you like, you can talk all you like, you can read all you like, without action, they are useless. Napoleon Hill once said, “To be poor and not to like being poor is a good step toward becoming rich.”

Use the fear of poverty as a starting point to success. Fear is a great motivator, if you know how to put it to work. It is a motivator. It will push you closer to your dreams. Remember what we are talking about here: the fear of poverty. If you don’t want to be poor, the fear of poverty will force you to work hard. See it as an opportunity to move forward, not as a barrier standing in your way.

Take responsibility. Manage your fear by taking responsibility to conquer it. Do not wait for someone from somewhere to come and fix your life for you. You are the only one who can do just that. If you blame people for what you fear, what you fear will dominate you. Take responsibility for all your actions, including your fears.

Finally, make your fear work for you, not against you. Remember, the opposite of fear is not courage, it is faith. You can make your fear work for you by taking responsibility, by using fear as a starting to success, by understanding fear, by rejecting fear, and by taking action.
