Kahlil Gibran said, “To belittle, you have to be little.” Is he right?

Are you bringing out the best in people? Are you killing people’s dreams? Are you treating people badly? Are you a bully? Are you treating people with respect? Are you belittling people?

When you belittle people, you are belittling yourself. Don’t belittle people. Treat them with respect. You are not bigger than how you treat others. How you treat others is exactly who you are. If you belittle other people, other people will belittle you. Don’t do it. It doesn’t make you bigger; it makes you smaller. Do you want to reduce yourself?

To belittle, you have to be little.“- Kahlil Gibran
