“The best way to grow up is to take responsibility for your life.” It is your life, so be responsible for how you live it.

Mary Parker Follett said, “Responsibility is the great developer of men.”

You cannot develop yourself without taking full responsibility for your life.

Taking responsibility for your life means you are responsible for all your actions. It also means you are responsible for your decisions, for your happiness, for your health, for your relationships, and for your failures and mistakes.

But you cannot take responsibility for your life if you don’t control your life. You need autonomy in order to be able to control your life. Without autonomy, you cannot take personal responsibility for your life.

Taking responsibility means you are not blaming anyone for your failures. But it is hard to take full responsibility for our lives if we do not have autonomy to make our OWN decisions.

You cannot take full responsibility if you lack autonomy, if you lack power to control your life.

Josiah Gilbert Holland said, “Responsibility walks hand in hand with capacity and power.

Only when you take responsibility for your life you can really change things. If you don’t change, your life will not change. To change it, take responsibility.

Whatever you are going through right now, do not see it as a problem. See it as a way forward.

Don’t blame people for your actions. Don’t blame people for your failures. If you failed before doesn’t mean you are going to fail again. Even if you fail, start again. It is okay to fail.

Don’t blame people for your mistakes. Blaming others for your failures give your power to other people. Taking responsibility for your actions keeps your power within you.

Blaming stops growth. Responsibility means growth. If you want to grow, take responsibility for your life.
