To be successful in life, you MUST first discover your “real” self. I have put together four great quotes that will help you discover your real self, and stop feeding your fake self.

They are:

Walt Disney said, “The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.”

According to Marva Collins, educator, “Trust yourself. Think for yourself. Act for yourself. Speak for yourself. Be yourself. IMITATION IS SUICIDE.”

Don’t imitate anyone. If you do, you are wasting your time. You are living people’s lives. You are pursuing other people’s dreams.

“Andrew Carnegie famously said that, “You are what you think. So just think big, believe big, work big, give big, forgive big, laugh big, love big, and live big.”

Lao Tzu, another great mind, said, “When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everybody will respect you.”

To achieve great things in life, be simply yourself. Do not compare or compete. If even you want to compete, compete with yourself.

Your Tomorrow Will Be Determined By What You Are Doing Right Now

Your future, your tomorrow, your dreams, your goals, will be determined by what you are doing right now. There is not going to be any tomorrow, if you don’t make the right decisions.

You don’t wait for your future. You create your OWN future. It will be determined by what you are doing right now. If you don’t create your own future, you will not have one. William Jennings Bryan said, “Destiny is no matter of chances. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.”

So, what are you doing to prepare for tomorrow? Are you setting realistic goals? Are you taking responsibility for your mistakes? Are you meeting the right people? Are you developing yourself? What are you doing?

If you have not started thinking about it, start now. It is never too late to achieve your dreams. Start making the right decisions. Start meeting the right people (people who can help you succeed). Start taking responsibility for your mistakes, and stop blaming people. People are not responsible for where you are, you are. Start doing things that will take you closer to your goals.

Start where you are, with what you have, and you will achieve extraordinary results. Start now.
