The purpose of anger is to let people know how you are feeling about certain things. You want people to know what is troubling you.

It is okay to vent your anger. You can vent your anger in a productive way. If you feel terrible, try these strategies:

Calm down. Think how it will affect your life.

Understand your anger. Know what makes you angry. Know the anger you are feeling.

The best way to control yourself is to forgive those who hurt you. I know it sound terrible to forgive those who hurt you, it is doable. It is the best thing you can do for yourself. When you forgive people, you will feel more relaxed, and your blood pressure and heart rate will drop. Forgiveness is good for your health. Resentment does the opposite to your health- destroys it.

If you keep thoughts of resentment in your mind, you are hurting yourself. Your mind need to be kept clean from dirty thoughts. It is a processing zone, not a hoarding zone. If you occupy your mind with negative thoughts, positive thoughts will exit your mind. A negative mind is a sick mind. A positive mind is a healthy mind. To keep your mind healthy, fill it with positive thoughts.
