The Road To Success Is Not A Straight Road.

The road to success is not a smooth road. It is not a straight line. It is sometimes longer than expected. It is a rough and tough road. Some of us understand that it is going to take a lot of effort to succeed. Some of us understand that it is going to take multiple failures before we succeed. Others think success will happen overnight.

Why is it that some people continue on this rough and tough road to success, and others decide to turn back?

This question provides the answer to the reason why some people are successful, and others aren’t so successful. Success is discipline. Success is hard work. Success is commitment. Success is focus. Success is action. If you want to be successful, it cost more than just day dreaming. It is hard work.

“Success lies in the opposite direction of the normal pull.”- Jim Rohn

“Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today.”- Benjamin Franklin

Those that are successful enjoy the rough journey to success. They prepare for the journey. They ask the right questions before they start. They have NO exit strategies. They have the end in mind. They have one purpose- to see the finish line.

The unsuccessful ones, on the other hand, talk the talk, but they don’t do the walk. To be successful, you have to talk the talk and walk the walk.

The unsuccessful ones have exit strategies. They are on the journey to experiment, not to see the finish line. Remember, total commitment is what leads to success in anything. If you want to succeed, commit yourself to it. Remember, the road to success is not straight, but embrace it. Barbara Hall said, “The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn’t matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark.”
