4 Ways to Achieve Your Dreams

People in a Mashroom 6 Conference Room

“We all have our own life to pursue, our own kind of dream to be weaving and we all have the power to make wishes come true, as long as you keep believing.”- Louisa May Alcott, poet and novelist

“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.”- Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

Your dream cannot come to reality without first committing yourself to making it happen. Your dream is just a dream without action. Nothing happens without action. With action, all things are possible. Make your dream possible by acting NOW! Not just action, but INTENTIONAL ACTIONS. Your dream will come true if YOU apply the following strategies:

Preparation

Preparation, preparation, preparation. No one can achieve anything great without intentional preparations. Preparation is the key to success. In fact, preparation is life. Without preparation, there is no execution. Intentional preparation will help you succeed in the face of all difficulties. Remember, nothing is too small to prepare for. No appointment is too small to prepare for. No examination is to small to prepare for. No job interview is too small to prepare for. Don’t take anything for granted. Always prepare. Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Make preparation in advance. You will never have trouble if you are prepared for it.”

Be Positive

Positive energy is important to your success. Because people, including your coworkers, want to be around positive energy- not negative energy. Positive energy is contagious. When you are positive, people want to do things with you. Elbert Hubbard said, “Positive everything is better than negative nothing.” Joel Osteen said, “Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you are going to live your live.” Positive people attract positive people. Negative people attract negative people. Do you attract positive people or negative people?

Be Persistent

People fail not because they lack the resources or talents to succeed, but because they give up too soon. According to Winston Churchill, “Never, Never, Never, Never give up!” You are almost there. One more step, you will arrive at your destination. Dale Carnegie said, “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” Ramana Maharshi, also said, “No one succeeds without effort-those who succeed own their success to perseverance.”

“A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed like hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.” Elbert Hubbard

Have A Clear Purpose

Your purpose is the reason you exist. It is your plan. it is your road map that directs you. It is your mission. A purposeless life is not worth pursuing. Because there is nothing whatsoever to look forward to. Pursue your life’s purpose with all that you get. It will not happen overnight, but if you stick to your purpose, it will happen. W. Clement Stone said, “Definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement.”
