“Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck.”—- Dalai Lama
People complain about the job they didn’t get. They complain about missing their flight. They complain about the car they couldn’t buy. They complain about everything- including where they live.
What they don’t know is that the job they didn’t get is pushing them closer to their dream job.
If things didn’t happen the way you wanted it to be, stop and think about the whole process.
Why didn’t I get the job? Was it my mistake? How can I improve?
Take it as a learning process. See what you can take away, so that next time, you will put it to a good use.
Fear controls lots of people. It prevents them from achieving their dreams. Are you one of them?
Fear is real. But don’t let it cripple you. Everything is out there for those that conquer fear. Fear will leave you alone if you persist, and if you don’t give up. Paulo Coelho said, “There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.” Fear is the enemy that a lot of people have to conquer before they can pursue their dreams. Even if you fail, it is not the end of the world. It is the beginning of a new chapter in your life. It is a stepping stone to something bigger, better, and nicer. Albert Einstein said, “Failure is success in progress.”
Embrace failure so that you can learn from it. But before you can learn from failure, you have to first accept it. If not, learning from failure will not happen.
Don’t create room for fear to dominate your life. If you feed fear, it will grow. If you starve fear, it will disappear. Face your fear. Don’t ignore what is terrifying you. Acknowledge the fact that fear exists, but face it constructively.
Cross the bridge of fear to achieve your dream. Don’t let fear paralyze you, you must paralyze fear.
