Can You Change Yesterday?

Person Writing on White Book

Can you change yesterday? The answer is a resounding “NO.”

Can you change today? The answer is a resounding “YES.”

Can you change tomorrow? The answer is a resounding “YES.”

Your focus should be on today and tomorrow. Whatever you plant today, you will reap tomorrow. If you plant the seed of prosperity, hard-work, you will reap the fruit of prosperity. BUT if you plant the seed of procrastination, you will reap the fruit of poverty. Focus on what is next, not what is gone. What is gone is gone, period! Researchers and scholars told us that, What you sow is what you will reap. I love quoting James Allen! Here is how he wrote it: “Every thought-seed sown or allowed to fall into the mind, and to take root there, produces its own, blossoming sooner or later into act, and bearing its own fruitage of opportunity and circumstances.”

“Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.”— Lyndon B Johnson

Tomorrow is what you have the power to change,BY YOUR ACTIONS. Prepare for tomorrow. Don’t waste your time thinking about the mistakes of yesterday. It is gone. If you spend your time thinking about the mistakes of yesterday, you will miss the opportunities to move forward in your life. If you want to grow, learn from yesterday, and focus on tomorrow.

“If you want to grow, learn from yesterday, and focus on tomorrow.”

You cannot change yesterday, but you can learn from it. Focus on tomorrow, it is the only thing you have the power to change. Yes, you have the power to change tomorrow. HOW?

You can change tomorrow by how you think today.

You can change tomorrow by the actions you take today.

You can change tomorrow by the books you read today.

You can change tomorrow by the types of friends you associate yourself with today.

You can change tomorrow by the way you treat people.

“Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.”— John F. Kennedy

“Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.”— William James

“There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.”— Dennis Waitley

A Clean Mind

White Drawing Pad

With a clean mind, everything is possible. With a clean mind, everything is achievable. It is very important to keep your mind clean. Protect your mind from negative thoughts. Open your mind to receive positive thoughts.

The human mind is the production house where everything is manufactured. If you allow negative raw materials into your mind, you will get negative final products. But if you allow positive raw materials into your mind, your mind will turn them into positive products. James Allen told us that, “good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.”

Your mind is all you need to protect. Protect it from negative thoughts. Negative thoughts will produce negative actions. Positive thoughts will produce positive actions. A clean and healthy mind is a healthy person. An unclean and unhealthy mind is an unhealthy person. Everything starts in the mind. If you want to have a healthy body and a healthy life, it starts with the type of mind you have. Keep your mind clean from negative thoughts. Change the negative thoughts in your mind into positive thoughts. How? ALWAYS FOCUS ON POSITIVE THINGS. If you do this with all honesty, your mind will starts to change.

“The mind is everything. What you think you become.”— Buddha

Select what you allow into your mind. Whatever you allow into your mind becomes part of you. You cannot hide it from the rest of the world. “Men  imagine that thought can be kept secret, but it cannot; it rapidly crystallizes into habits, and habits solidify into circumstances,” James Allen said. Keep your mind clean and your mind will keep you clean. “The mind is everything. What you think you become.”–Buddha
