Fear Is A Killer
Fear is a killer. Everyday, we face different challenges that require us to be bold, to be courageous, and not to allow fear to cripple us. Fear has the power to cripple your plans, fear has the power to paralyze your plans, and fear has the power to kill your dreams.
If you want to succeed in life, you have to do whatever you can to conquer fear. Bertrand Russell, a British philosopher, said, “To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom. Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric.”
You have to be courageous in order to succeed in life. You have to be bold, fearless, but not arrogant. There is genius in boldness. I think this quote belongs to Albert Einstein. To succeed, you have to confront fear. You cannot achieve anything big without first eliminating fear from your mind. James Allen said, “Fear and doubt should be rigorously excluded; they are dis-interesting elements which break up the straight line of effort, rendering it crooked, ineffectual, and useless.”
Don’t allow fear and doubt to stop you from achieving your dream. According to Paulo Coelho, a Brazilian novelist, “There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.”
Fear of failure is what separate the rich from the poor. The rich understand fear, and they manage it well. It does not stop them from going after their dreams. They understand that there is no hope without fear. The poor people understand fear, and allowed it to stop them from going after their dreams. As a result, they will end up not doing anything productive with their God given life. George Addair said, “Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.” He is right. if you are able to get ride of fear, or manage it well, success and confidence is within your reach.
The primary reason why fear exists is to stop people from reaching their full potential. If you eliminate or manage fear in a productive way, fear will leave you alone. But if you welcome fear, or manage it unproductively, you have given fear the room to dominate your actions. If you are able to stop fear and doubt, you have crippled fear. James Allen said, “Doubt and fear are the two great enemies of knowledge, and he who encourages them, who does not slay them, thwarts himself at every step.“
If you allow fear to dominate you, you will not make any progress in life.
Fear is not your friend, it is your worst enemy. Treat it as such.
According to Les Brown, “Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.”
Live your dreams. Fear is a dream killer. Don’t let fear kill your dream. If you allow fear to be your master, you will be a slave to fear- forever. Whatever controls you is your master. Don’t let fear be your master. If you allow fear to be your master, fear will pocket you forever. Stop fear before it stops you. Don’t give fear any room to grow. If you nurture or accommodate fear, it will grow and take control of our life. If you starve fear, it will not grow; it will die.
“A man who is not afraid is not aggressive, a man who has no sense of fear of any kind is really free, a peaceful man.”— Jiddu Krishnamurti, Indian philosopher
Whatever you feed, grows. Don’t feed fear. Feed confidence and courage, you will prosper.
